So, I've decided to write a blog, or should I say - a diary of a photographer - just to take a bow to my inner urge of writing, and to people who like to read, instead of the casual doomscrolling through Tik-Tok's and Instagram stories.
This will be a rather simple thing - a series of stories, reviews and not-too-technical photography stuff and experience that I want to share regarding my creative journey.
A casual box of thoughts. A complimentary canvas to my YouTube channel.

I don't treat photography as a profession, but a hobby. A way of letting my creative ego live it's own life. It's a form of escapism. From everyday routine, negativity and train of thoughts. Yes, I'm definitely an overthinker.
But this is also a way to learn to notice things. The beauty of the world and people around. To capture moments in time - unique and personal fragments of life in a single frame.

Personally I think this is one the best peroids to live if you want to do photography. There's tons of gear and optics available, not to mention the past era of vintage lenses if you need that retro look on a digital camera. It's also quite affordable if you want to shoot just for the sake of your passion, but with decent quality!
This blog will also let you dive into the gear I use and test along the way, especially if you like to see more convenient photo examples, than on YouTube format.
I can also write and show more "mature" stuff here, as the YT guidelines and limitations often prohibit saying things or showing certain imagery. This place is more safe for such content and I will definitely use this "advantage" while posting here and talking about the "real" side of camera gear and tested accessories(hopefully the companies won't stop working with me tho!).
Anyway, I guess this way, the Digital Retro idea will be complete and it will motivate me to keep it updated one way or another(or it's just my wishful thinking).
I'm not a gatekeeper, so I will definitely show my gear/settings and observations, because I think photography should be something to be shared and enjoyed and if there's anything that can help other people in getting into it - I'm the guy!
Of course each one of us has the specific taste and style, and I'm not gonna hit everyone's spot, but if you like retro-style photography and film-look vibes, we probably gonna get along.
I am also a fan of traditional e-mail correspondence and discussion, so if you want to drop me a message/ask for anything related to this content - feel free to use the contact form, and we'll hang out in that classic outlook style!
The blog spots will come at least weekly. I can promise you that!
